Today, I have attended a meeting at 7 with some people discussing "green" plans for the Markham-Ellesmere revitalization plan.
Key points:
Green Roofing
helps drainage of rain water
discussed/related to water diversion for flushing toilets
pipes from other collected ground water

Tower plan from the mayor
greening of current lower rise apartments
green standard for new buildings
e.g. expensive, energy-saving windows vs non-expensive not energy-saving windows.

School Year Starts....

The dreaded new school year of Grade 8 shattered my thoughts about the cool, ad relaxing(uh....) summer. I have Mrs. Wentz as my teacher, and she's pretty good. She hardly ever yells, but when she disciplines someone, she has has that cool, yet meanicing tone that freaks me out. Other than that, she's fine.
Also, we got a bunch of homework on the second week. My classmates are okay. Not superb, but okay.
